PARALEGAL NEEDED FOR A LAW FIRM IN CAPE TOWN CBD

SALARY WILL BE BASED ON SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Matric is essential, and a post-matric qualification will be beneficial
Sound computer skills and advanced knowledge of Excel
Numerate and familiar with figures and bank statements
Lifestyle audits / capturing bank account statements
Capturing and organising receipts provided by clients
Organising bank account statements sequentially (online as well as the hardcopies)
Unlocking secured PDFs and saving them in a logical manner when we receive huge amounts of locked PDFs from banks through subpoenas
Formatting documents
Being a PDF wizard so that we can send the annexure to the person and they can mark them up in Adobe and combine/paginate in Adobe
Printing and filing attorney/ attorney correspondence
Managing the filing system
Organising the storeroom, and shredding
General administrative support duties such as scanning, etc.
