PABX Technician

SUMMARY:
-

POSITION INFO:

• Installation and Maintenance on network components- PBX, routers, switches, access points and cabling
• Recovery Operations and Data Backup
• Troubleshooting, Diagnosing, and Resolving Hardware and software system problems
• Replacing Hardware
• Monitoring performance to make any adjustments
• Conferring with providers and ISP to solve system problems

Requirements:

• Must have a telecoms background (this is non-negotiable)
• IT experience will be beneficial
• Good communication skills to be able to deal with customers
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to travel and work overtime if required
• Salary is negotiable depending on experience
• 2+ years Installation and Maintenance of PBX, routers, switches, access points, and cabling.
• 2+ years working with VOIP
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience as a PABX Technician
• Samsung, Panasonic, and Yeastar experience beneficial
