A digitally innovative accounting firm seeks an aspiring Accountant to join their client's finance team based in Johannesburg North.

A digitally innovative accounting firm seeks an aspiring Accountant to join their client's finance team based in Johannesburg North.

*Please note the successful incumbent will have a valid drivers' license as traveling is required.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full finance and accounting function of the company.

Duties will include but not be limited to bookkeeping, tax and VAT, cashflow management and forecasting, reconciliations, assisting with budgets and management accounts, debtors and creditors, and accurate recordkeeping of accounting documents.

You will also assist in the hands on mentoring and training of junior clerks..

Education:
BCom in Accounting / Finance

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Knowledge of cloud-based accounting software
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Valid drivers' license
Financial acumen
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
