Home-based vacancy available for a Sales Team Lead who is self-managed, able to work remotely and independently.

This lifestyle product needs a unique salesperson who’s able to connect to customers on an individual level and close the sale in 1 call.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a “go for it” attitude
  • 3 Years Outbound Sales Team Leader experience
  • Management/Supervisory/Team Leader experience with proven track record
  • Ability to assist others in building a referral base
  • Ability to assist others to make a sale from a single call
  • Ability to coach and correct staff
  • High-Quality computer with headset
  • Stable internet connection
  • Reliable electricity supply
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office

DUTIES

  • Lead a team of 15-20 Home-Based Outbound Sales Agents
  • Self-manage and grow team sales in a remote environment
  • Drive and meet sales targets of a lifestyle product
  • Regular remote meetings with all Team Members (as groups and individually)
  • Create and maintain an environment for self-managed, money-hungry, Sales Agents to thrive in
  • Support all Agents to exceed their targets daily
  • Use the tools on hand to achieve and exceed targets:
    • Cold Leads from which a referral base needs to be built
    • Dispositions
    • Talk-Time
    • DebiCheck
    • QA Scorecard
    • Live monitoring of agents on VICIdial
  • Train and Coach the Agents on:
    • Generating a referral base
    • Present, promote and sell products using conversation with the customers and not a script (we do not hard sell)
    • Present products to potential customers who meet company criteria
    • Present products in a manner that the customer understands what they have purchased
    • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Maintain required QA score
  • Comply with the POPIA
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Continuously improve through feedback
  • Communicate challenges to Senior Management

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • I have a high-quality laptop/desktop with sufficient processing power and RAM to run at least 3 websites at once as well as Microsoft Office.
    • MicroSIP will be installed on your PC to work with VICIdial. You will run VICIdial, our CRM program, and the company though cloud-based programs. You will be required to use MS Word and Excel.
    • A headset that works with the PC is essential.
  • I have a dedicated, stable internet connection of no less than 10mbs upload and download.
    • When using VOIP, it’s absolutely essential that there is no buffering or lag. The conversation between the parties should be seamless.
    • When watching YouTube, Netflix or playing games, the system has an automatic buffer in place to give you a smooth viewing experience.
    • Upload speed is just as important as the download speed because this affects how the customer hears you and this influences the image of the company as well as how well the customer understands the product.
    • The network connection and consequent conversation is more stable when the router is connected to the PC directly.
    • Pocket routers and dongles are notoriously unstable and is therefore not acceptable.
    • LTE and Fibre is more stable than other connection types and therefore more suitable.
  • I have a smartphone capable of accessing websites and WhatsApp.
    • You will be expected be on several WhatsApp groups and also maintain constant communication with your team using WhatsApp messages, voice-notes, voice calls, video calls and file transfer.
  • I have a dedicated workspace that allows me privacy and an environment to concentrate on selling during working hours.
    • Includes a comfortable table and chair that will guard against the development of back problems or other medical conditions.
    • The table needs to be large enough to hold the PC and notebook. Your legs and knees should fit under the table. The screen should be at eye-level to be the most ergonomically compliant.
