We’re ramping up our Call Centre! We need agents who are self-managed, able to work remotely & independently. Our lifestyle product needs a unique salesperson able to connect to the customer on an individual level & close the sale in 1 call.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a “go for it” attitude
• 6 Months outbound sales call centre experience
• Build a referral base from cold leads
• Make a sale from a single call
• Computer with headset
• Stable internet connection
• Reliable electricity supply

DUTIES

• Convincing cold leads positively
• Generate referrals
• Self-manage in a WFH environment
• Present, promote, sell products using conversation with the customers & not a script (we do not hard sell)
• Identify potential customers who meet company criteria
• Present in a manner that the customer understands what is purchased
• Establish, develop, maintain positive business & customer relationships
• Comply with the POPIA
• Achieve agreed upon outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Continuously improve through feedback
• Maintain required QA score
• Communicate with team leader for coaching assistance

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• By applying to this position, you confirm that you have:
  • A laptop/desktop with sufficient processing power & RAM
    • MicroSIP will be installed on your PC to work with VICIdial. You will have VICIdial, our CRM program, and the company website open during all telephonic presentations. All 3 of these programs are accessed via websites
    • A headset that works with the PC (preferably USB) is essential. Should you be alone during working hours (and there are no ambient noises), the headset does not need to be noise-cancelling

• A dedicated, stable internet connection of 10mbps (upload and download) or more
  • When using VOIP, it’s absolutely essential that there’s no buffering or lag. The conversation between the parties should be seamless
  • When watching YouTube, Netflix, or playing games, there’s an automatic buffer in place to give a smooth viewing experience
  • Upload speed is just as important as the download speed as this affects how the customer hears you and this influences the image of the company and how well the customer understands the product
  • The network connection is more stable when the router is connected to the PC directly
  • Pocket routers, dongles, and Rain 4G are notoriously unstable and is therefore not acceptable
  • LTE and Fibre is more stable than other connection types and therefore preferable

• A smartphone capable of accessing websites & WhatsApp
  • You will be expected to join several WhatsApp groups & maintain constant communication with your team using WhatsApp messages, voice-notes, voice calls, video calls & file transfer

• A dedicated workspace allowing for privacy and an environment to concentrate on selling
  • A comfortable table and chair that will guard against the development of back problems or other medical conditions
  • The table needs to be large enough to accommodate the PC as well as a notebook. Your legs should fit under the table, the screen should be at eye-level to be the most ergonomically compliant
