SUMMARY:
This is a fixed 2 year contract based in the mining industry in Phalaborwa

POSITION INFO:

Purpose:

The incumbent is responsible for coaching and consulting with teams and individuals to assist in solving organizational challenges. This role supports all OD areas such as Organisational Development Interventions, Performance management system implementation, OD process execution as well as transitioning and management of change.

Requirements:

  • Degree or National Diploma Human Resources
  • Honours degree in Industrial Psychology – desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Organizational Development and Training role and experience in job evaluation process.
  • Three (3) years general Human Resources experience - desirable.
  • Valid Driver’s licence.
  • Computer skills (MS Office, SAP).

Duties:

  • Analysing business structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources.
  • Designing and implementing a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and training materials.
  • Interviewing personnel and facilitating targeted skills development initiatives. Leading business optimization initiatives by conducting individual or group sessions for personnel.
  • Contributing to the restructuring of departments to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives.
  • Optimizing personnel utilization by increasing cross-functionality and interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Measuring the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, employee retention, and job satisfaction.
  • Assist the roll out of Performance management system models in relation to Succession Planning, 360 Reviews, Performance Management, Goal Management, Continuous Performance Management.
  • Determine gap between current workforce and future workforce requirements. Providing management of change support to business initiatives.
  • Facilitating culture change and embedment initiatives.
  • Identification of critical roles to increase efficiency and align activities with objectives.
