JOB DESCRIPTION:

Short Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to pro-actively lead and manage the optimization and execution of best practice business and operational processes, procedures, systems and resources.
You will need to enable sustainable and profitable growth and to further embed the vision of delivering quality products and optimizing value to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead optimization strategies that enable and support the execution of operational objectives.
  • Lead, manage and monitor the progress of critical business optimization projects.
  • Define a risk management framework (ERM) and provide direction and guidance to the business on driving a culture of governance, risk management and compliance.
  • Analyse current operational processes to advise on opportunities for increased efficiencies and implement solutions aimed at efficiency, business growth and sustainability.
  • Provide input to the due diligence investigations of new business opportunities through value stream mapping.
  • Build sustainable business relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders in the market.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage the different teams, on different levels, effectively.
Key Competencies:

Education and Experience
  • B Hons Degree in Industrial Engineering or Information systems
  • Commercial Degree will be an advantage for the environment
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a Senior Management position
  • Proven knowledge of and experience in a Supply Chain Management role
  • Proven knowledge of and experience in an improvement role in FMCG
