SUMMARY:
Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a driven and results-oriented Operations/Sales Manager with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in the logistics or supply chain sector.
POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including freight, warehousing, and dispatch coordination.
- Optimize operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring SLA compliance and continuous performance improvement.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and mentor operations staff, promoting a culture of accountability and high performance.
Sales & Client Management:
- Identify new business opportunities and develop client relationships to expand the customer base.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and service terms with clients.
- Maintain strong after-sales support and ongoing client engagement.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport operations, with a proven track record in sales and team management.
- Strong knowledge of logistics workflows, freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and deliver in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High proficiency in MS Office; experience with logistics management software is a plus.
- Willingness to work long hours and be available after hours if operational needs arise.
