Operations Settlement Consultant

A giant in the telecommunications industry is looking for a Operations Settlement Consultant to join their dynamic team based in Johannesburg to take ownership of the reconciliation and settlement queries for users and mini-app participant of the product whilst providing leadership and guidance to the settlement resource accountable for general merchant settlement queries.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• A multi-skilled resource who will be able to manage the reconciliation and settlement queries as it pertains to the acquiring and products with a specific focus on assisting with settlement and reconciliation queries as it pertains to the mini-app portfolio.
• Act as support to the Supervisor Settlement.
• Provide leadership to the Consultant Settlement within the business operational area
• Act as SME for settlement within the environment.
• Provide input to settlement processes and provide training on settlement and settlement processes to other participants with the business operational area.

Key performance indicators:

• Accuracy in evaluation and completion of settlement queries.
• Response time of resolving operational queries as it pertains to the settlement process and procedures of mini-app merchants.
• Act as support to the Supervisor and Settlement.

Must have:

• Matric
• Certificate in project management and/or business administration / 3 to 5 years’ experience within a bank business operational area where settlement queries for corporates was a prime focus.
