We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Operations Manager who can hit the ground running and take ownership of the operation with minimal training and supervision.
Specific experience within a FRUIT COLD STORAGE FACILITY is essential.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a fruit cold storage facility
- Ensure smooth and efficient movement of fruit, pallets and consignments
- Manage operational teams and ensure staff are performing effectively
- Coordinate cold-room, dispatch and loading operations
- Ensure operational procedures and requirements are followed
- Manage operational challenges and resolve issues efficiently
- Ensure effective coordination between operations, dispatch, transport and management
- Monitor productivity, workflow and operational performance
- Ensure the facility operates efficiently and according to required standards
- Take ownership of operational responsibilities with minimal management intervention
