SUMMARY:
Operations Manager – Centurion – Pretoria

POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Logistics/Transport Industry is looking to employ an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff on daily tasks
  • Providing training to new and existing staff as needed
  • Support overall department goals
  • Handling of all round operations
  • Customer negotiations, presentations, and visits
  • Handling of key customers
  • Daily production management
  • Decide on when over time is required to meet production targets

 

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Production Management / Project Management
  • Proficient with excel and google sheets.
  • Strong middle management person who can take strong control of the departments
  • Experience in authority of making decisions
  • Hands on team management with clear goal setting and project mapping / management with the team
  • Sound understanding of quality standards
  • Previous operations manager experience preferred (in the Logistics/Transport Industry)
  • Strong communication skills and professional disposition
  • Impeccable work ethics and integrity
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and drive, teams
