SUMMARY:
A JSE listed leading South African services, trading and distribution group is seeking to employ an energetic and hardworking Operations Manager to manage one of their sites.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Manage the operational budget, with a focus on cost management while managing claims and participate in the monthly billing and signing off on invoicing

Communicate and meet with clients while investigating complaints and prepare reports accordingly. Conduct performance appraisals and encourage employee development

Maintain operational legal compliance with the SHERQ Coordinator

Review stock take or the cycle count reports and sign-off and report on discrepancies on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Compile daily, weekly & monthly management reports and attend monthly management meetings while presenting operational performance stats.

Education:

Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics and certifications in Operations Management

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 or more years’ experience in Warehouse Management
Experience in Bond Stores and Compliance to SARS
Planning and Organizational skills
The ability to lead and manage people with excellent communication skills
Customer service experience as well as the experience in Inventory Management

Remuneration:

R500 000 - R520 000 CTC per annum
