SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager will take ownership of facilities oversight, contractor management, budget administration, and tenant coordination. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operational standards of the centres, while ensuring a professional, secure, and functional environment for tenants, service providers, and customers.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all operational functions of allocated buildings and centres
Conduct daily inspections of the property, service areas, and OB Book sign-off
Manage contractor compliance, monitor SLAs, and oversee on-site work quality
Perform regular equipment and safety tests (Generators, Sprinklers, Fire Panel, Panic Buttons)
Conduct tenant storage inspections, ensure proper stacking and compliance
Generate and manage Purchase Orders, Approval Forms, and GRNs
Control budget vs actual expenses and track monthly variances
Lead tenant installations and ensure compliance with OHSA
Manage and update emergency procedures, contractor lists, and evacuation plans
Coordinate gutter inspections, CCTV footage updates, and 1st Aid protocols
Support project planning and assist with tender documentation when required
Participate in property inspections, take-on/take-back processes, and reporting

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

Grade 12
3–5 years’ experience in Operations or Facilities Management
Technical background in electrical, mechanical, or construction disciplines
Strong understanding of property systems, service provider contracts, and OHSA regulations

Additional Requirements & Competencies:

Computer literacy: MS Office Suite, SAP, MDA
Experience in managing budgets, SLA compliance, and reporting
Strong organisational, administrative, and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Understanding of lease agreements, emergency protocols, and building systems
Valid driver’s license
