SUMMARY:
Operations Consultant - Identification & Localization

POSITION INFO:

Action and resolve IM (Incident Management) tickets during office and stand-by hours.

Action and resolve CIM (Critical Incident Management) tickets during office and stand-by hours.

Create and lead investigation and resolution of PM (Problem Management) tickets as

Create, coordinate and action CM (Change Management) tasks and tickets as required.

Parametrisation of off-the-shelf RTLS products.

System monitoring (e.g. CPU consumption, incident tickets, storage etc.).

Contact person for local business, Business Relationship Management and external provider.

Support and implement worldwide rollout projects (transfer old system to new one).

Provider management (e.g. monitoring of service level, requirements management).

Minimum Requirements :

Tertiary Qualification in Information Systems or equivalent experience.

 ITIL certification (advantageous).

 ITIL process knowledge and work experience (Required).

Experience in an operations environment

Generic Technical / Functional skills : 

ITSM (IT Service Management) knowledge.

Experience in Operations and structure teams.

Functional knowledge.

Understand Processes, deep process knowledge in THE COMPANY processes.

ITIL process knowledge and work experience.

AGILE Project Management knowledge.

Quality Management.

Mentoring of team members.

 Understanding of IT Infrastructure and relations between components.

ITPM process knowledge and work experience (advantageous).

Specific Technical / Functional skills • Excellent technical understanding of IT systems is mandatory.

Linux administration experience is mandatory.

ITIL process knowledge required.

Unix Shell scripting experience required.

Agile experience advantageous.

Database Oracle/Postgres knowledge is desired.

2-3 years’ experience in Production / manufacturing system operations environment (advantageous).

Additional Requirements : 

Knowledge of RTLS (Real-time Location Services) applications as used in production systems desired.
