SUMMARY:
One (1) Year Fixed-Term Contractor Brand Programme Specialists - Community Training Centre, Johannesburg (R350K pa)
POSITION INFO:
Our client a multi-national branded Company seeks to URGENTLY appoint a highly energetic and vibrant Brand Programme Specialist to be based in their Johannesburg South Community Sporting Events Training Centre.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- An integral role responsible for the efficient coordination of the programmes run by the facility.
- Co-ordinating all programming from partners, brand team & SCI
- Control of all programming making sure that we are consistent to our model that allows community to book time within the space
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coach partners on how to identify, create, and seize market opportunities.
- Collating and reviewing regular reports from the Partners.
- Coordinate internal resources, Coaches, third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects in partnership with Brand Partner Specialist.
- Create and coordinate the effort of x-functional team & brand team on programming
- Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive programme planning sessions – implementation and management of The Centre Tool.
- Ensure programme deadlines are met.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Ensure that there is coherent coordination and communication flow between the Administration, Partners and the Programme Participants.
- Evaluate impact of Partner Programmes
- Identification and mitigation of operational risks.
- Know and understand the key outputs necessary for Partners.
- Manage the progress of the programme and adapt work as required.
- Optimise and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
- Oversee the administrative function as it influences programmes.
- Prepare and maintain mandatory programme documentation and records.
- Set up weekly meetings with all cross functional teams & brand team to inform everyone on the coming activities.
- Stakeholder management across all stakeholders on sharing programming (Brand Team, Catalyst Brand & Brand partner co-ordinator)
- Submit relevant programme reports throughout the programme lifecycle
KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have effective communication skills,
- Strong leadership skills,
- Willing to work staggered shifts Monday to Sunday
- Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to drive multiple initiatives and oversee diverse team of stakeholders in the programme coordination of the centre.
- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate dependencies and risks, creative thinking, and problem-solving.
- Confident in working with all levels of internal teams and stakeholders
- Customer-facing project management experience
- Desire to learn how things work and step out of your comfort zone, drive for self-development, positive outlook, and willingness to be an active participant in the growth of the programme
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Experience in being agile for guaranteed programme delivery processes
- Experience in the configuration of digital and/or document solutions.
- Experience running projects/programmes involving multiple teams and workstreams
- Experience working with data-driven solutions
- Proven track record in successful and timely delivery of programme / projects
- Solid understanding of digital, and technology concepts gained ideally through work experience.
- Live in or around Soweto would be ideal.
