1 Year Fixed-Term Contractor Brand Ambassador / Partner Co-ordinator Specialist, Community Training Centre, Johannesburg (R350K pa)
POSITION INFO:
Our client seeks to URGENTLY appoint a vibrant Brand Ambassador / Partner Co-ordinator Specialist to represent their multi-national brand. Based in the Johannesburg South Community Sporting Events Training Centre.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- Responsible in guiding programming targets by partner; based on the needs of the facility programme facility in line with the brand, which will require a strong partnership with the brand programme co-ordinator & brand marketing team to set the respective programme targets for partners.
- Responsible for the acquisition of new partners and relationship management of current partnerships with catalyst brand in making sure partner acquisition & relationship management that meets the needs of the brand and the facility offering
- Hold partners accountable on agreed programming targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Align with brand activities & campaigns to support partners with Brand Marketing Team.
- Align with Brand Team on promotional activities in line with the Brand narrative offense
- Analyse situations and take necessary action to ensure quality is maintained.
- Be the overall custodian of Partnerships and its requirements to define plans
- Define and manage the budgets required to manage Partners
- Define partner targets and develop plans to achieve them
- Define the partner enablement requirements
- Develop Partner plans and execute joint actions
- Direct appropriate resources (Brand Programme Coordinator) to best opportunities to maximise Partnerships.
- Ensure effective due diligence process is in place and followed to support partner selection
- Ensure partner incentives is aligned and in support as required by The Centre
- Ensure that The Centre has the right amount of partners, aligned with the brand strategy and the facility
- Identify partner issues and ensure corrective measures are put in place with Brand Manager (Quality Control)
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of SLA for the assigned portfolio partners
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the terms of agreements and manage and grow relationships within assigned portfolio of targeted partners
- Manage activity to meet Partnership targets and agreements compliance
- Measure and manage Partner satisfaction levels and compliance with partners
- Operationally manage the Partner Channel program
- Prepare reports on partner account performance as required.
- Provide feedback on The Centre risk exposure regarding the financial performance of the allocated portfolio of partners and provide recommendations as appropriate. (Manage Account Administration
- Report on all opportunities and their status on a weekly basis
- Resolve escalated issues or escalate as appropriate.
- Seek feedback from stakeholders and continuously seek ways of improving on quality and partner service standards.
- Strictly follow and ensure team compliance of relevant policies and procedures
- Support the Centre Brand Manager in the definition and setup of new Partnerships in partnership with Brand Catalyst
- Work consistently according to standard operating procedures.
KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
- Sports / Brand / Account Management Qualification or 3+ Partner / Community Services management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing to work staggered shifts Monday to Sunday.
- Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines.
- Have excellent people skills and intuitive to customer’s business needs.
- Calmly deal with customer complaints and issues.
- The ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good PC and software skills.
- Basic accounting and/or technical knowledge.
- Live in or surrounds of Soweto would be advantageous.
