Oncology Nurse

SUMMARY:
An experienced Oncology trained nurse is required for a Bone-narrow transplant unit at a hospital in Johannesburg (north-west).

POSITION INFO:
Candidates must have a post basic Oncology qualification with nursing experience of oncology patients to be considered for this position. 

Education & work experience:
Nursing Diploma/Degree
Post-basic Oncology qualification
Minimum of 2 yrs Oncology nursing experience
Previous experience with bone-marrow patients would be advantage
Ability to perform nursing assessments and knowledge of care principles and techniques for oncology patients
Ability to function well in a multi-disciplinary team
Educate patients and family members about the condition 
Compassionate and emotionally resilient
Good communication skills
