On Con Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Durban. Leading distributors of premium alcohol brands seeks target-driven Sales Representative with relevant on-consumption alcohol sales experience to join their Sales team and actively boost product sales and create brand awareness across the brand’s portfolio.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

The Employee’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:  

• Boost product sales and create brand awareness across the Employer’s brand portfolio
• Brand portfolio / increase brand awareness and boost product sales
• Brands and product knowledge/training 

The Employee’s duties will be:

• Long-term marketing strategy 
• Organise events, create promotions and incentive ideas in-line with the marketing strategy to boost product sales 
• Assistant where need with the organisasing of national events like, e.g. Whisky Live, Wade Bales, Spar Trade shows, etc
• Assist with distribution and delivery
• Identify new consumers
• Grow menu listings of the Employer’s brand portfolio
• Identify On-Consumption advertising opportunities 
• Visit On-Consumption customers and venues and build good relationships with the owners, managers and staff
• Increase the overall visibility of the brands in On-Consumption venues and outlets
• Anticipate customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
• Provide training to customers, bar teams, promoters, etc. on the brands and the perfect serve
• Brief and train promoters on the brand guidelines
• Monitor sales and depletions for the On-Consumption market
• Reporting
• Support the sales teams and key account managers in retention of existing customers
• Targeted driven sales
