Boston's Graduate Support Services is recruiting for a Kosher Restaurant that needs a new team member to provide vital support
Job Details:Location: A Kosher Restaurant
in Glenhazel, Johannesburg
Working hours: 06:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
AND SUNDAYSalary: Market-related and negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
Job Requirements:
- Must have matric qualification
- Preferably at least a diploma – qualifications in Hospitality or Events would be advantageous
- Must live close to Glenhazel (ideal suburbs would be Kew, Bramley, Alexandra, Orange Grove, Highlands North, Lyndhurst)
- MUST HAVE A VALID LICENCE AND OWN VEHICLE
- At least TWO YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE is essential
- Hardworking and self-motivated
- Proven administration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and complete tasks on time
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be able and experienced to work in fast-paced environments
- Must attend to general administrative duties
- Must have good attention to detail and data capture skills
- Assist clients with catering and event quotes
- Maintain good relationships with all clients
- Flexible
- Learns quickly
- Able to operate office equipment
- Proficient with all Microsoft programs
- An interest in or experience with hospitality, food, catering or events will be advantageous
- IMPORTANT NOTE: as this is a Jewish Kosher café and most of their customers will be orthodox Jewish, a strong respect for the Jewish faith is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
