JOB DESCRIPTION:

Salary: Depending on experience (basic salary R13k - R15k) plus 5% company contribution to pension fund 160k to 189k

Location: Kya Sands Randburg

Summary of the position:

This is a junior position, with the key objectives to:

handle a large part of accounts payable processing
Switchboard and receptionist duties
day-to-day office management
filing and related administrative duties

Essential Requirements: Matric/Grade 12

Own transport essential
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts payable environment
Accuracy and compliance to procedures
Presentable, friendly, people-person, well-spoken
Fluent in Afrikaans and English( this is absolutely essential)
Basic proficiency on MS Word, MS Excel and working experience in an accounting or ERP-system. Experience in Pastel highly preferable
A young, vibrant person that takes pride in their work will suit the position well

Key tasks to perform:

Placing of purchase orders
Capturing of purchase orders and supplier invoices
Three-way matching of purchase orders, delivery notes and supplier invoices
Answer switchboard and handle receptionist duties
Monitoring of printer meter readings and report technical issues
Filing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll documents
Monitor levels and place orders for office groceries, cleaning chemicals and stationery
Process production sheets on Excel
Manage courier services
Complete vendor applications
Printing and labelling as required
