SUMMARY:
A freight Forwarder is seeking an Ocean Imports Customer Relations Controller to be based in their CPT branch
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Coordinate, control, plan and manage all aspects within the import and cross trade procedure
Receive estimate from client
Request rates and process estimates
Arrange collection at origin station
Instruct origin to book with co-loader
Register shipment
Request commercial invoice
Quality check ETA
Send status reports
Invoice shipment
Handle all queries
Coordinate movement of cargo within time frame
Ensure customs clearances are followed up with customer and processed
Ensure release is taken from co-loader
Understand origin and destination rules and regulations for African countries
Align ocean cross trade process with origin and destination office
Matric
Minimum 3-5 years Ocean Imports experience
