Join a forward-thinking renewable energy team working on modern solar and hybrid power systems. We’re looking for a practical, problem-solving Solar Technician who enjoys fault-finding, working in the field, and keeping critical energy infrastructure running efficiently and safely.
POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
- Monitor plant performance using SCADA and identify faults
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on solar PV, BESS, generators and LV/MV systems
- Troubleshoot underperformance and restore uptime quickly
- Compile maintenance and performance reports
- Provide technical support and guidance to site operators and clients
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts when required
Skills & Experience: - Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in solar PV and battery storage systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong electrical fault-finding and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and travel to sites
Qualification:Trade Test: Electrical or National Diploma Electrical
Wireman’s License (Advantageous)
