SUMMARY:
Manage Industrial Off-Grid Solar PV and Solar Thermal Systems in Botswana, Namibia and South Africa insuring they operate as per the SLA with the client. Monitoring production and system down time, ensuring the systems return to the designed production level. As the O&M Technician you will be based in Botswana.

POSITION INFO:

Daily monitoring of all systems

Perform planned and unplanned maintenance as per contractual SLA

Procurement of parts for required maintenance

Report writing of incidents and services tended to

Respond to system breakdowns

International travel where required

Managing cleaning teams

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 – 5 years Solar PV Technician experience

Proficient with power and precision tools

Excellent computer skills, report writing and data entry

Knowledge of IT systems and protocols required for solar site communication

Qualification:

Electrical Trade test

Wiremans License

Passport

Valid Driver’s license

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
