O365/M365 Specialist

Permanent role, based in Centurion

This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end Microsoft 365 security and compliance deployments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Defender, Intune, Azure AD Conditional Access, and Microsoft Purview solutions.

The position provides customised implementation, configuration, and advisory services to enable secure, compliant, and well-governed Microsoft 365 environments.

 

Overall Purpose of the Role

To design, deploy, configure, and optimise a secure, compliant, and well-governed Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring:

• Strong threat protection across endpoints, email, and cloud apps

• Robust identity and access control

• Effective data classification and protection

• Regulatory compliance and governance alignment

• Improved overall security posture

 

Core Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 Security Deployment

Lead the implementation and configuration of:

• Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune)

• Azure AD Premium Conditional Access

• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

• Microsoft Defender for Office 365

• Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps

• Microsoft Purview Information Protection

• Outlook Mobile security controls

Microsoft 365 Defender & Threat Protection

• Configure and optimise the Microsoft 365 Security Center.

• Enable cross-product incident correlation and automated remediation.

• Implement proactive threat hunting and investigation capabilities.

• Improve customer security posture using Microsoft Secure Score.

Cloud App Security (Defender for Cloud Apps)

• Configure monitoring scopes, IP ranges, governance policies, and app controls.

• Integrate with Defender for Endpoint and Purview.

• Enable Cloud Discovery and CASB capabilities.

• Implement Conditional Access App Control.

• Create and optimise security policies aligned to business risk priorities.

Endpoint Security (Defender for Endpoint)

• Assess endpoint readiness and current security posture.

• Onboard Windows, mobile, and cloud PCs.
