Are you a highly skilled and strategic actuary with a passion for innovation in the non-life insurance space? A leading player in the insurance industry is seeking a Non-Life Pricing and Structuring Lead to lead our client''s specialist Cell Captive team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic leadership and technical excellence, playing a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions for their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team, providing strategic direction that aligns with broader business objectives.
Take full accountability for product development, pricing frameworks, and structuring initiatives for key portfolios.
Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from the initial assessment of new offerings for commercial viability to leading rate reviews and re-pricing exercises for existing products.
Work closely with internal teams to provide expert actuarial input on underwriting and capital structuring for new deals.
Act as a senior technical advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex actuarial insights into clear, actionable business decisions.
Manage financial performance reporting, ensuring all products adhere to best-practice actuarial standards and remain profitable.

Experience and Qualifications:

Educational Background: A qualified or nearly qualified actuary (FASSA or equivalent) with a Bachelor''s or Honours degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Successful completion of F103 (General Insurance Principles) or an equivalent short-term insurance exam is required.
Experience: You should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the non-life (short-term) insurance industry, with a strong working knowledge of actuarial pricing and product structuring principles. Experience with the SAM capital regime is also essential.
