JOB DESCRIPTION:

An industry leading retail organisation seeks to hire a Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant with to join their team. This company is big on grooming them for other future opportunities that might come up. The successful incumbent will work closely with the Financial Manager with regards to performing operational finance functions across all reporting entities.

MAIN DUTIES

General administration

Approval of expense all claims, and payments related to respective business units
Review of management accounts to ensure that prior year actuals, current year actuals and current year budget balance
Investigation and analysis of management accounts and advise regional heads of variances, reasonability of increase in cost and decrease in revenue
Responsible for statutory functions.
Review monthly property, plant and equipment reconciliations and ensure fixed asset register balances to the trial balance
