Qualification
- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Certification in Cross-border road freight or relevant qualification
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the cross-border road freight industry, specifically servicing the South Africa- Zambia route
- A sound understanding of the operational and documentation requirements associated with this corridor
- The importance of this role is ensuring efficient cross-border operations and maintaining high levels of customer service
- Valid drivers license
Duties
- Booking escorts for copper convoys.
- Monitoring convoy movements from the border posts to the designated offloading points.
- Receiving and processing southbound POD's.
- Processing export documentation with clearing agents for northbound dispatches.
- Pre-alerting shipment documentation to nominated border agents.
- Liaising with clients regarding shipment status and operational updates.
- Responding to all queries relating to loading, offloading, and transport documentation.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of super-link vehicles and their operational requirements.
