New Business Development Specialist (Warehouse) - UPINGTON -
POSITION INFO:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
ØTargeting new business.
ØDealing with all relevant queries in a friendly and courteous manner.
ØMaintaining business relationships.
ØAssist and resolving queries in the operations and accounts department as and when required.
ØEnsure that timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
ØBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
ØAt least 5 years’ experience in a new business sales environment in the Road Transport / Tipper and Flatdeck Operations.
ØAbove average interpersonal skills.
ØGoal Driven.
ØGood computer skills.
ØMust have good understanding of cost calculations.
ØExcellent communication skills.
ØFully bilingual.
ØAbility to function independently and be self-motivated.
ØThe ideal candidate must have the ability to maintain a sustainable fast pace with enthusiasm.
ØAdaptability and perseverance associated with the transportation industry.
ØValid driver’s license.
