SUMMARY:
Neurologist required in the Cayman Island
POSITION INFO:
The successful applicant is responsible for providing 24 hour neurological services including admissions and outpatient clinics.
This includes the management of patients as referred by other colleagues from Emergency Room, General Practice and Critical Care Units as well as non-HSA physicians.
The post holder provides coverage to general medical patients in the absence of the Internists.)
Must be competent in performing Nerve Conduction Studies and EMGs and be able to supervise the performance of EEG as well as its interpretation.
Nationalities, Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must be board registered or completed the required post-graduate specialism
The successful applicant must have a Medical Degree and specialist qualification in Neurology from a recognised Board.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience post-specialisation either in a clinic or hospital setting.
For licensing, candidates must be registered in the following jurisdictions to be eligible to practice in the Cayman Islands; Jamaica, USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and/or Australia.
