An exciting opportunity has arisen for one of our esteemed clients for the exciting position of a Network & Systems Administrator. Are you the right person for this opportunity?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Managing cloud services & subscriptions.
Deployment of company applications and systems.
Designing, implementation, planning and monitoring of networks.
Ensuring cloud services costs are kept in check and within the budget.
Upkeep of the documentation of all company systems and networks.
Ensuring high availability of all systems & infrastructure.
Ensure that a DR plan is in place for systems.
Ensure cyber security standards are implemented and maintained.
Monitoring of all infrastructure.
Ensuring that all systems remain patched and upgraded.
Ensuring that the Global Operations Centre remains operational 24/7 and systems remain online.

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience and knowledge in using:
Linux – mainly Ubuntu
Windows
Mac
Networking including:
IP Address planning & subnetting
Peering
VPN’s
DNS
Mobile APN
Routing Protocols such as OSPF and BGP
AWS, Python, MySQL, NodeJS
Nginx, HA Proxy, Redis, Influx DB
MongoDB, Zabbix, Gunicorn, Radius
MQTT, WebSocket, Mikrotik

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or proven experience-based equivalent
