SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Network & Telephony Specialist, East Rand

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Role

Maintain, manage, and optimize existing networking & telephony systems.
Work together with IT Infrastructure manager to define policies and procedures relating to network performance and security.
Analise security risks and develop response procedures.

Key areas of responsibility

Maintain and optimize existing networking infrastructure.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement other security and monitoring devices.
Installing computer security software.
Conducting regular security audits.
Preparing of security status reports.
Educating users on computer security.
Creating security documentation for users.
Assisting in disaster recovery and gathering evidence regarding cybercrimes.
Manage and maintain Telephony infrastructure and systems and the optimisation of thereof.
Troubleshooting and monitoring network related performance focusing on the remote and on-site deployment.
Ensure network protocols are documented refining security between network devices.

BSc in Computer Science
Microsoft certifications
Security certifications
Skills with ManageEngine range of products.
Microsoft Azure network security
Other Cloud security experience.
