A software engineering company who build their own complex software used across the globe are looking for a skilled Full Stack .Net Software Developer to work within the Organisation’s Innovation Department and take development responsibility for a .Net Core back-end and a feature-rich reporting front-end cloud application. Ideally, we need a Full Stack Developer who can work across the entire application. The Software Developer will also be responsible for researching and implementation of the latest technologies through constant innovation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with the Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, User Experience (UX), Test Engineers and Software Engineering Leads
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices
• Identify and implement appropriate design patterns
• Provide accurate effort estimates on development tasks
• Ability to break down user stories into development tasks
• Consistently produce quality code and products; in a team environment; in accordance with the prescribed architecture, standards and implement as required within the agreed upon timeframes
• Passionate about UI development, UX and articulate it well
• Create design documents, source code, and other work products necessary for the ongoing success of the product(s)
• Research and implement the latest technologies

Skills and Experience:

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Demonstrable software development experience
• 3 Years+ relevant working experience in .Net Core
• 3 years+ of technical hands-on experience as an intermediate developer
• Windows development experience
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Relevant business experience / exposure
• .Net Framework 4 & .Net Core & C#
• WebAPI
• Angular
• Typescript
• ASP .Net MVC/ Web Forms
• HTML/ CSS
• jQuery/ JavaScript (ES 5 and ES6)
• Microsoft SQL Server
