National Stock Recon Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate that has extensive experience in the reconciliation of stock and credit processes. FMCG / Retail sector experience essential.

POSITION INFO:

Essential Qualification, Experience and Skills

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Financial qualification – highly advantageous
• High level knowledge of the credit processes
• Experience in a service environment would be advantageous
• FMCG / Retail / Supply Chain sector experience
• Financial acumen skills
• Staff management skills
• SAP (advantage) – ERP experience essential
• Must have own transport.

Key Result Areas

• Implement a reconciliation statement that has integrity.
• Implement a strategy to recon every single client at least quarterly with no risk to the company
• Consolidate month-end data from National stocktakes using WMS and the client’s ERP system
• Formalise month-end inventory RISK valuation charter.
• Prepare financial schedules e.g. stock write-offs.
• Implement an early warning system to highlight irregular stock adjustments and financial risk
• Prepare monthly schedules for provision accounts
• Ensure SOP’s are followed and implemented on WMS and are up to date
• From time to time cost appropriate RFQ requests
• Implement a cost per client model
