Primary Purpose of the Job

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel at assigned customer accounts
  • Oversee and manage the company installations contractors for all installation work.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches
  • Manage all existing contracts
  • Manage all Key accounts
  • Manage all CleintsMonthly, Quarterly and Annual reviews
  • Analyze and provide market analysis to improve product service positioning and increase effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Proactively assume a role in developing & executing strategies to build a phenomenal sales culture and productive team that is residually paid commission by focusing on customer’s needs and retention.
  • Advise senior management team on sales directions, competitors and market trends.
    Create and sustain effective collaborative partnerships with all managers and departments.
  • Execute day-to-day call cycle management, using a wide variety of techniques, from introducing and maintaining a CRMsystem, Quartley marketing and sales objectives set for individual area sales managers.
  • Recommend, obtain buy-in and implement any changes needed to align the sales organization with our overall company strategy and business plan.
  • Develop strong ties with key customers and accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact the market
  • Develop a dynamic team by teaching and mentoring your hand picked sales team.
  • Track results and communicate/present to senior management at  quartleymanagment meetings
  • Drive improvements in the sales process and organization to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of your team.
  • Interface with the various Office Departments who support your sales team ensuring they give you the highest standard of work possible.
  • Achieve growth-oriented revenue goals and objectives.
  • Lead and develop the sales team to support sales strategies and deliver exceptional, profitable sales growth and results.Lead your business partners and  sales team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Ensure consistency with the message and company intent to the Subscription Model will be our companies future model.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Develop each Area Sales Manager’s skill set and continoiusproduct knowledge.
  • Manage the sales forecast accuracy.
  • Conduct regular sales team meetings and pipeline reviews.
  • Lead your business partners and  sales team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Take part in weekly/monthly/quartley meetings to address concerns & acknowledge individual/ team accomplishments.
  • Identify and build relationships within your office to help produce future leaders
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs, including installation contracted teams.
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.
  • Manage, train and motivate Installation contractors to perform to all the above points and to continually monitor the cost and quality of the contractors work.
  • Insure weekly installation updates are recorded and implemented as per company policy.
  • Assist in co-ordinating the installation schedule into your department and assist as far as possible.
  • Assist in sales direction and when called upon to visit customers and give technical assistance to all sectors.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports and forecasts
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
  • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency

Main Tasks(Day to day Sales Management Tasks)

  • Setting of sales targets within company guidelines for your Area Sales Managers.
  • Assisting and motivating Area Sales Managers to achieve their goals and sales targets.
  • Monitoring your team''s performance.
  • Developing sales strategies and implementing them.
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures.
  • Dealing with some major customer accounts yourself.  Franchise & business directors.
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research.
  • Reporting back to General Manager
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors.
  •  Recruiting and training sales staff if and when necessary. 
  • Manage Installations and teams
  • Communicate with Operations Manager on client feedback, challenges and queries where Sales need to assist.
