SUMMARY:
Our client is a reputable property management company that blends global standards with specialised local expertise to offer tailored, high-performance solutions across the real estate spectrum. From leasing and valuation to maintenance and asset management, they assist property owners and occupiers in maximising their property investments.

They are currently seeking a Senior National Operations Manager to oversee the operational efficiency, facilities performance, and compliance of a diverse national property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support Operations Managers across the portfolio
Conduct monthly Condition Assessments with site teams
Oversee Hard and Soft Services contract performance and compliance
Maintain and manage Asset Registers across sites
Empower and guide Operations Managers on resolving complex onsite issues
Ensure full compliance with legislative standards and client-specific policies
Lead Tenant Installation projects over R50K – tenders, site meetings, contractor appointment & supervision
Assist with vendor sourcing and procurement processes in line with BEE requirements
Lead monthly Ops team meetings and forward-planning sessions
Review budgets and ensure financial governance and alignment with client approval frameworks
Conduct building inspections and oversee general building administration

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

Grade 12 + Tertiary qualification in Facilities Management or related field
5–8 years’ experience in commercial property/facilities operations at a senior level
Deep knowledge of:
â Lease agreements
â Facilities & contract management
â Budgeting & financial reporting
â Property legislation and compliance
Strong administration and business writing skills
High IT literacy (MS Office; Excel a must)
Valid Driver’s License
