POSITION INFO:

Qualification

• Matric
• National Diploma in Safety Management

Requirements

• 5+ Years working experience in HSE doing site inspections on Mines
• Familiar with ISP9001
• Willing to travel.

Duties

• Manages, monitors, and improves heath and safety standards
• Monitor workplace health ad safety risks and advise on how to eliminate these risks
• Develops work safety systems ad processes
• Ensure compliance
• Compile and maintain safety files
• Conduct pre implementation risk assessment on new sites ad idetify risk mitigation
• Review contractor safety files
• SHE improvement proposals, corrective action, and plan implementation of NCR''s
• Contractor performance
• SHEQ meetings on behalf of the company
• Contractor meetings
• Investigations of corrective action reporting
• Investigate route cause analysis
• Prepare monthly statistic reports
• Ensure regular emergency response exercise
• Supervise regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment
• Evacuation plans
• Audit finding reports
• Corrective measures
• Review and amend standards, specifications, policies and procedures for approval
• Safety work procedures
• SHEQ admin folders
