National Fleet Administrator

SUMMARY:
5 years management experience in a Logistical environment

POSITION INFO:

You will be required to implement a support infrastructure on vehicle maintenance from a national perspective, to support all the regions and their transport managers. To act as a liaison to support to improve and maintain the National Fleet.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Matric (National Grade 12 Certificate)
• 5 years management experience in a Logistical environment
• Minimum 7 years Logistics experience
• Experience in material handling, preferably in the FMCG industry
• Experience in a service environment would be advantageous
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Good people skills
• Commitment to service excellence
• Able to meet administrative demands

Key Result Areas:

• Database of registrations per depot detailing all details pertaining to that vehicle
• Ensuring AARTO regulations are adhered to and compliance from a vehicle condition is in place.
• Daily pre-start checks are done for each vehicle daily
• Shut down checks are done for each vehicle daily
• OEM audits are put in place in place for vehicles exiting services and repair centres
• Tyre audits are done in conjunction with timelines or km’s
• Fuel consumption reports, daily km’s, tyre checks are all managed centrally
• Implementing and maintaining KPI reports, analysis of km’s, rotating of vehicles etc.
• Assisting with tyre control and tyre maintenance at each
• Implement a rating/health check on each vehicle
