NPO Organizational Manager (Half-day)

SUMMARY:
The Helderberg Stroke Support Group (HSSG) is a non-profit organization based in the Helderberg (Western Cape). The HSSG runs community based groups for stroke survivors, provides training as well as stroke campaigns.

POSITION INFO:

From 1 October 2021

The HSSG is looking for an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or other Health professional with at least 5 years’ experience, who is passionate about rehabilitation and community work, and has experience in adult neuro / stroke rehabilitation for their Organizational Manager post.

This is a part-time post (5 mornings a week: 08:30 – 14:00).  The position is a combination of managerial tasks as well as giving therapeutic input at community rehabilitation groups in the Helderberg Basin (Somerset West / Strand / Sir Lowry’s Pass / Lwandle, Nomzamo, Zola / Macassar) and Grabouw, as well as the training of volunteers, home based carers and nursing staff.

The relevant person must be registered with the HPCSA and have medical insurance with the Medical Protection Society (MPS) or similar institution.  CPD points must be up to date.

Own transport is required.
