New Business Manager - Debt Review Industry - Randburg - up to R35k + benefits

POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment & Training is assisting with the recruitment of a NEW BUSINESS MANAGER for a JSE listed organisation in the DEBT REVIEW INDUSTRY, to be based in their offices in Randburg. Up to R35 000 + medical aid & provident fund.

Overall Purpose of the Position of a NEW BUSINESS MANAGER:

The NEW BUSINESS MANAGER is responsible for the take-on of new debt review applications including the structuring of responsible repayment plans, submission of proposals to credit providers and handing the file over to legal recovery lawyers to commence with the legal preparation of the court pack.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

• 6-8 years’ experience in the debt review industry as a NEW BUSINESS MANAGER.
• Matric.
• Passed the DC (debt councillors) exam, essential.
• Registered with the NCR (National Credit Regulator) essential.
• Relevant degree/diploma, an advantage.
• Banking experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent knowledge of the (NCA) National Credit Act pertaining to debt review.
• Experience with the debt review processes.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of credit agreements, certificates of balance, credit bureau reports, budgeting and spending norms as well as repayment plans and proposals.
• Experience in negotiating with credit providers and consumers.
• Experience utilising a debt counselling system (maximus-advantageous) and related fee structures.
• Experience managing a large team.
• Able to meet targets.
• Clear criminal and credit records.

Remuneration:

Up to R35 000 + medical aid & provident fund.
