SUMMARY:
Well established company in Boksburg requires the services of a NDT Level 2 Technician on a temporary basis who will be responsible for operating NDT equipment (MPI,UT,PT) material handling, assisting in dip and pack area under general supervision of NDT level II technician and NDT supervisor.
POSITION INFO:
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 (maths and science)
Basic computer skills
Valid Level 2 Certificate in Ultrasonic Testing
Valid Level 2 Certificate in Liquid Penetrant
Valid Level 2 Certificate in Magnetic Particle Inspection
Skills & Competencies
Able to perform UT, PT and MPI inspection
Willing to work shifts
Able to work overtime when requested
Good knowledge of forging, machining and heat treatment defects
Able to set and operate NDT equipment
Knowledge in NDT principles, theory and practice
Able to meet deadlines and achieve targets
Able to read and interpret stage drawings, specifications and technique sheet.
Good communication skills
Experience
1 – 2 Years’ experience in Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic particle testing and Dye penetrant testing
