A NAV Oversight position has become available with a leading Asset Manager, based in Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A NAV Oversight position has become available with a leading Asset Manager, based in Cape Town. This role will entail the oversight over fund accounting and related functions within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Confirming the accuracy & reasonability of daily priced funds

Daily review and oversight over cash balances and cash, scrip & NAV reconciliations and assist in resolving reconciliation breaks.

Calculation and review of income distributions, performance fees, rebates and fund expenses

Oversight of and assisting in the preparation of fund-related regulatory reporting

Maintain relationship with investment teams, client groups and other operations functions across the business.

Requirements:

Newly qualified CA (SA) or B. Com degree
At least 3 - 5 years' experience either at an asset manager or a fund administrator
A deep understanding of fund pricing processes, the mutual funds industry and SA CIS and UCITS regulatory frameworks.
