Multimedia Professional

SUMMARY:
Our client in the telecommunications sector requires a Multimedia Professional (Skilful in Videography, Video Editing and Graphic Design) on 1-month contract with a blended remote/working-from-home and/or occasionally at their company premises in Midrand.  To produce videos and design multimedia related content for the business as per stakeholder requirements

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

• Must have excellent videography, video editing and graphic design competencies and skills.
• Skilled and experienced with the industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of video and digital design practices.
• Must have an up-to-date portfolio showcasing digital visual work (either published or unpublished).
• Be an enthusiastic self-starter.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in producing high quality videos and creating multimedia designs for corporate clients.
• Relative qualification(s) in Video Production, Multimedia and Graphic Design.
• Successful candidates must have high attention to detail and excellent personal communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry best-practices, including content delivery standards and usability.
• Valid Driver''s License and own reliable transport.
• Own camera equipment (preferable and advantageous).
• Own editing laptop with updated software.
• Familiar with professional camera and audio equipment.
• Reliable fast home office internet.T
• Two – three contactable references to be included in submission

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to work as a part of a team and independently to deliver engaging and visually appealing content that meets the brief and resonates with the audience.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work well with staff at all levels of the business.
• Collaborate and support the Communications Department and other teams to determine appropriate visual, textual and animated elements of projects.
• Generate visual concepts and ideas that enhance specific campaigns across a variety of media.
• Prepare and produce high quality engaging videos and create multimedia designs for use online and on internal social media platforms.
• Good editorial judgement
• Edit and process (add metadata, rename and file) videos and images accurately.
• Source images from suppliers and online image libraries.
• Initiate contacts within the team.
• Setup appointments and manage deadlines.
• Strong time management, work ethic and enthusiasm while prioritising and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to produce high quality work with deadlines, while maintaining creativity and attention to detail.
