Multimedia Designer

The role:

If you are a creative thinker who can take a brief from concept through to completion and impress with your visual identity, strong layout skills when it comes to the digital world, and if you can complement your designs with a true understanding of digital marketing and how it works – then we want to hear from you!

We have our own in-house agency and are looking to expand our team with a Multimedia Designer who has a strong print & web/digital design background. This role will be web/digital-based, working in a Hybrid business model. Assist in a variety of mediums including, but not limited to, HTML web design, UX/UI prototyping, digital advertising, video and animation, concept design and application, print design and B-T-L execution.

The detail:

Creative Thought Leader

• Brainstorm and conceptualise across web/digital platforms - animation and graphics, motion graphics (video) web development and design, mobile app design, and social media content curation and design.
• Maintain Brand CI and DNA standards across all brands and media.

Collaborate

• Work closely with our Developers to deliver and inspire.
• Work closely with Brand Managers, Client Partners, Creative Team and Team Leads to provide creative ideas and solutions and meet brand strategic requirements.
• Articulate and support design decisions based on the brief and agreed strategy.
• Juggle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities and tight schedules.
• Keep abreast of industry standards and developments in IT and design programmes such as Adobe Creative CC, HTML/HTML5 and CSS with a basic understanding of JavaScript.

Are you this person?

• Do you have a degree in Multimedia Design/ Web Design or equivalent?
• Do you have 4 to 6 years of multimedia, web, digital and design experience?
• Are you able to showcase your creative portfolio? We’re talking websites, mailers, banners, landing pages as well as design of social media pages and various other layouts and designs.
• Would you say you’re highly proficient with Adobe Creative suite?
• Do you have experience using HTML/HTML5, and CSS, basic Javascript and PHP?
• Are you proficient in Mac and Microsoft operating systems as well as Microsoft Office suite?
• Can you work independently without direct supervision from concept to creation?
