SUMMARY:
Well known aircraft manufacturer based in Johannesburg South is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team.
POSITION INFO:
- Manufacture new mould and master patterns
- Duplicate existing moulds
- Repair existing moulds
- Assist in the development of part manufacture by creating more efficient moulds
- Work alongside laminators, draughtsmen, engineers and the mould maker supervisor
- Any other duties as may be instructed from time to time by a member of company management
REQUIREMENTS:- At least 2 years practical experience as a composite (fiberglass or carbon) mould pattern maker
- Trade Certificate in pattern-making would be advantageous
- Ability to make patterns from engineering drawings
- Vacuum bagging and infusion skills would be advantageous
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Ability to work with jigs
- Exceptional attention to detail
