SUMMARY:
Motor Vehicle Technician Intern - East Rand - Gauteng

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well established automotive dealership located in the East Rand of Johannesburg, is looking for a recently qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join a 12-month workplace experience programme.

Requirements:
  • Suitable MERSETA - QCTO Motor / Diesel Trade Qualification 
  • Computer literate
  • Suitable workplace experience would be advantageous
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Own toolbox will be advantageous
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 

Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customer concerns
  • Provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Prepare relevant reports and job card write-up
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

Salary: Negotiable Basic Salary
