Monthly Pensions Claims Clerk

SUMMARY:
A large company specialising in Administration Services is looking for a Claims Clerk.

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12
• Numerical skills
• Good attendance and reliability

BASIC WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in claims administration and/or 3 year’s surplus related experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Communication skills.
• Telephone skills.
• PC skills (Excel)
• Navigation of mainframe system

CONDENSED LIST OF DUTIES:

• Administration of Claims nationally and internationally (Death, Retirement & Monies in Trust).
• Corresponding with members/beneficiaries in receipt of a pension/Instalment via mail or email.
• Calculating various benefits payable.
• Completing and submitting necessary statistical reports.
• Handling of tax queries and issuing certificates.
• Customer queries relating to pension maintenance and general enquiries.
