POSITION INFO:

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (Cape Town)

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required

A minimum of a 3-year Diploma/Bachelor’ degree in development related subjects (preferable)

Or A minimum 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of development programs.

Good knowledge of programme and Project Cycle Management and Development.

Communication and analytical skills.

Exposure to at least one of the health information System used in the COCT (PREHMIS, Health Systems, PHCIS)

Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power point: SPSS Ms Access, STATA, Excel, or other statistical software package desired.

Key duties and responsible

Data Collection and Report Coordination

Data Quality Improvement

Data Analysing and Reporting for Facility and Program Performance Improvement

Support to program Stakeholders (DOH, CoCT, other Health stakeholders

Other Qualifications and Experience Desired

A certified qualification on Program and Project Cycle Management and Development.

Exposure to at least one of the health information systems used in the CoCT (PREHMIS, Tier.net, PHCIS).

Understanding of Datim reporting and MER indicators.
