Mining / Construction Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Develop and maintain the market in the Mining & Construction Sector in Botswana and North West province

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining the Business Sector
• Develop and maintain relationships with Key Decision Makers
• Evaluation of the Market
• Market Analysis (Market Size, Share and Growth Opportunities)
• Evaluation of Product Portfolio to fit the Mining & Construction Markets
• Implement consistent marketing strategy plan with overall aims and requirements of the organisation
• Respond to and follow through sales and supply chain enquiries
• Manage Accounts
• Weekly and Monthly reporting
• Carry out market and customer surveys
• Provide product training, workshops and symposiums to clients
• Launching of products into the market

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Grade 12 (or equivalent)
• Preferred tertiary qualification: Technical / Sales / Business management

Skills / Requirements:

• Botswana Citizen with SA Work permit or SA Citizen with Botswana Work permit
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in experience, with successful sales history and achievements in the Mining / Technical environment;
• Experience in dealing with Mines and Construction companies
• Achieving sales targets;
• Able to work under challenging circumstances; 
• Travelling frequently (60%)
• Business management / Product Management experience
• Sound knowledge and working ability with Excel
• Valid drivers’ license
• Must be credit and criminal clear
