JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
  • SAP PM System
  • Work under production pressure.
  • Fault findings techniques on Mechanical, Hydraulic, Water and Electrical systems.
  • To safely carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to the plant in line with documented work.
Knowledge:
  • Furnace electrode equipment
  • Furnace transformers
  • Cooling systems
  • Hydraulics
  • HP pumps
  • Slurry pumps
  • CO Gas fans
  • CO Gas scrubber systems
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Electrical reticulation diagrammes including distributions transformers.
  • Alignment of motors, gearboxes couplings and fans.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 / N3
  • 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Trade Certificate (Millwright)
