POSITION INFO:

My Client in the Engineering Industry is looking for a Trade Tested Millwright With FMCG Industry experience to join their dynamic team.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Attend to break-downs and prioritize jobs promptly.
• Plan & perform routine services, repairs and preventative maintenance of the electro-mechanical equipment.
• The millwright will need to ensure safe, proper mechanical and electrical functioning of production equipment in ensuring a continuous run of machinery

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Matric certificate
• Qualified Artisan: Millwright (Essential)
• 3-5 years experience as a Fitter in the FMCG Industry
• MUST have bottling Experience
• Conveyor Maintenance Experience ESSENTIAL
• Must have experience with Gearbox and Pump Repairs
• Sound knowledge on PVC extrusion; PLC’s; thermocouples; variable speed drives; reading of drawings; hydraulics; pneumatics; pumps; bearings, fault finding on electrical and mechanical circuits is essential
